The Vice Chancellor, Professor Barnabas Nawangwe today, Tuesday 22nd February, 2022 graced the Makerere University Grants and Administration Steering Committee’s first meeting.
The nine GAMSU Steering Committee members include the; Deputy Vice Chancellor (Finance and Administration) Prof. Henry Alinaitwe, who doubles as Chair of Committee, University Secretary Mr. Yusuf Kiranda, Dr. Sabrina Kitaka, Dr. Charles Masembe, Dr. Agnes Rwanshana Semwanga, Dr. Hellen Nambalirwa Nkabala, Dr. Godfrey Akileng, Dr. Robert Wamala and Mr. Gyaviira Lubowa.
The Steering Committee as mandated by the Makerere University Grants and Administration Policy 2020, Section 9 (d) considered and approved the work plan and budget as presented by the Head of GAMSU, Prof. Grace Bantebya Kyomuhendo among other resolutions passed.
